A Wednesday Evening of French Charm and Swing
On November 4, Gypsy Swingin’ Cats return to the stage of In The Mood Jazz Club for an evening celebrating the golden age of swing, French jazz, and the joy of spontaneous music-making.
Gypsy Swingin’ Cats – the duo of Vladi Mihaylov (viola) and Ilko Gradev (accordion) – bring together two instruments with distinctive sounds in an extraordinary musical dialogue. Inspired by the traditions of French gypsy swing, the two musicians will take us on a journey through beloved European and American swing melodies and musical stories.
Expect spontaneity, virtuosic improvisations, and a touch of nostalgia for romantic Paris – its charming sidewalk cafés, bohemian atmosphere, and irresistible swing rhythms that will have you smiling and tapping your feet before you even realize it.
